Know Your Artisans

The Mandala Wooden Table Runner is crafted by artisans Pradeep, Chandrama and Sarfaraz from Varanasi.

Their work brings together woodworking, finishing and detailed hand painting to transform reclaimed pine wood into a functional piece of art. Each artisan contributes a different skill to the finished product, creating a beautiful balance between material, craftsmanship and design.

Sustainable Craftsmanship

The Mandala Table Runner is part of Scrapshala’s Salvage Range, which focuses on giving existing wood a new life.

Using reclaimed pine wood helps reduce dependence on newly harvested timber while supporting skilled artisan livelihoods in Varanasi.

Choosing a durable handcrafted product also encourages a slower approach to consumption, where fewer well made products can serve us for longer.
