Ocean in Motion was conceptualized by Scrapshala founder Shikha Shah as part of the Save the Ocean Series, created to translate environmental stories into memorable pieces of art.
The sculpture is handcrafted by Anil, a skilled artisan who transforms simple discarded and natural materials into expressive three dimensional artwork. Every fish is shaped, finished and painted by hand, giving the installation its individual character.
Sustainability & Story
The piece brings together materials with very different stories. Driftwood, naturally weathered by the elements, becomes the foundation, while discarded paper is transformed into lively sculptural fish.
It represents Scrapshala’s approach to conscious design: creating beautiful objects from materials that already exist while using craftsmanship to tell stories that matter.
