Lightweight, durable, and travel-friendly, this diary is designed for everyday journaling, office notes, planning, and creative writing.

Part of Scrapshala's signature Chamkila Collection, the diary features a hardbound cover handcrafted from handloom textile made using upcycled multi-layer plastic (MLP) wrappers, locally known as Chamkila. Know Your Artisan

The Chamkila Magnet Closure Diary is handcrafted by Scrapshala's artisan partners in Rajasthan, where discarded plastic wrappers are cleaned, sorted, and transformed into durable handloom textiles using traditional weaving techniques. Each diary is then carefully stitched and finished by skilled artisans, giving non-recyclable plastic waste a meaningful second life through craftsmanship.

What Makes It Special

Each diary cover is handcrafted using approximately 15-20 discarded multi-layer plastic wrappers, preventing them from ending up in landfills. The waterproof Chamkila textile, recycled paper pages, and magnetic tyre tube closure make this diary both practical and uniquely sustainable.
