Intern with Scrapshala

Join Scrapshala for a hands-on internship experience across sustainable design, e-commerce, marketing, and retail operations. Ideal for students from NIFT, NID, and other design, business, and creative institutes, this program offers real-world exposure to building a sustainability-driven brand.

Work with pre-existing and waste materials, and contribute to creating home decor, lifestyle products, sustainable gifting solutions, and festive collections, while also understanding how these products reach customers.

Internship Areas

1. Sustainable Design & Product Development

  • Work with upcycled materials and circular design concepts
  • Create products across home decor, gifting, lifestyle, and festivals
  • Explore material innovation and handcrafted production processes

2. E-commerce & Catalog Development

  • Product listings, catalog creation, and website management
  • Assist in building SEO-friendly product descriptions and collections
  • Work on Shopify operations and online merchandising

3. Marketing & Brand Building

  • Content creation for social media, campaigns, and storytelling
  • Work on sustainable branding, communication, and digital marketing
  • Assist in campaigns, launches, and community engagement

4. Retail & Store Operations

  • Hands-on experience in store management and customer interaction
  • Understand visual merchandising and product presentation
  • Learn about offline sales and retail experience design
